fantastic access to breathtaking landmarks and stunning park views
I really enjoyed the spacious rooms with lovely rural views and the hot buffet breakfast that gave me the energy I needed for my city strolls to nearby attractions, like Skutustaoagigar, which is just under 3 km away and perfect for some leisurely hikes along the serene landscapes.

The restaurant's limited dinner menu needs more variety and later hours!!! Room ventilation struggles lead to stuffiness, and the absence of personal towels like washcloths falls below standard expectations!!!

The hotel is beautifully modern with comfortable rooms that include nice amenities, but the midges can be a serious annoyance. Despite enjoying a delicious dinner at the restaurant, a little empathy from the front desk staff would have gone a long way towards improving the experience overall.

Gorgeous view with cozy comfort
Waking up to spectacular views of the lake was pure magic! Each sunrise was a picture-perfect moment. The big window in our room let in bright natural light, making everything feel inviting.
Though it felt isolated, the limited dining options meant we had to plan meals carefully. The only restaurant on-site had long waiting times during dinner.

Helpful staff save the day!
Had a fun stay with a super nice staff! We got stuck in snow while checking out and Fionn from the front desk literally came to the rescue. The view from our room was sweet too. Just wish they had better curtains for privacy since we faced the parking lot. But overall, nice place with good vibes!
